How can I find out if the college is closed due to inclement weather?

SCHOOL CLOSURE INFORMATION
In the event of inclement weather The Art Institute of Seattle may need to close or delay the class starting time. There are three easy ways to access information about weather related closure or delays:
* Log on to www.schoolreport.org
* Listen to Newsradio 710 KIRO
* Tune in to Channel 7 KIRO
Each of these sites will be regularly updated by The Art Institute of Seattle staff to provide the community with accurate school changes & announcements.

What is the address of the Online Services (OLS) website?

The OLS website address is stu.aii.edu.

What is the address of the Academic Affairs' Website?

The Registrar Site is found at www.aisacademics.com .

Who has access to the OLS website?

Current students and students who have graduated within the last six months, as well as faculty and certain staff of AiS, have access to OLS. The OLS web site requires a username and password.

Who has access to the Academic Affairs' Website?

The Academic Affairs' Website is accessible to everyone, both inside and outside AiS. No username or password is required.

What services are available through my OLS account?

Your OLS account provides you with a personal e-mail address and 5 MB of e-mail account space; 50 MB of web space so that you may create a personal web site; access to your grades; access to web registration; unofficial transcripts; links to various web pages of use to AiS students; and a host of other services.

What do I need to log-in to OLS?

You need a username and a password.

How do I find out my username and password?

Username and passwords are handed out during orientation. First quarter students who have not attended orientation, need to visit the Registrar's Office to obtain their username and password.

What do I do if I forget my username or password for my OLS account?

When you visit stu.aii.edu., you may look up your username or self-reset your password by clicking the appropriate links on the page and following the instructions provided. If this does not work, students must have their password reset by the Registrar Department either in person or over the phone.

Why is my account locked?

Your account is automatically locked if the wrong password is entered more than five times.

How do I get my account unlocked?

A student who finds that his/her account is locked must have it unlocked by the Registrar Department either in person or over the phone. Passwords are not reset via email.

To whom should I report general problems with my OLS account?

Contact the Registrar Department.

When I click on Academic Services, why do I see somebody else's account information?

If the person before you did not exit the browser completely, their account information will be displayed when you click on Academic Services. To fix this, exit ALL browser windows and relaunch the browser. For Macintosh systems, be sure that you choose "File...Exit" in the browser; just closing the window does not close the application.

May I have my grades e-mailed to me?

For security reasons, grades may not be e-mailed to students. Grades are available by following the "Academic Services" and "Grades" links on the site after logging in. Only the most recent set of grades are available through this link.

May I get a transcript through the OLS web site?

Unofficial transcripts are available by following the "Academic Services" and "Academic Record" links on the site after logging in. Official transcripts must be requested in writing through the Registrar Department.

Where may I find information about publishing a web site through OLS?
